Bichon Frise Sitting

My mom agreed to watch my dog for me while I was out of town. I was so happy that my dog wouldn't be cooped up in a kennel the whole time, which is what would happen had I boarded her with our vet.
I left my mother specific instructions on how to take care of her and a list of emergency numbers. My mother laughed and said that I take better care her than a child. She laughed even more when I handed her a brochure that read: Emergency care for your Bichon Frise.
The brochure had the facility's number and location. It came in more than handy when my dog ran out the back door and was hit by a car while I was away.
My mom may have thought all of my precautions funny when I was leaving, but she thanked me later for leaving her completely prepared. It saved my dog's life!
