Brains and Brawn Work Together to Melt My Heart!

As the puppy runs tirelessly around the backyard I reflect on just how strong Bichon Frise puppies really are.
I always thought it was stupid how people acted like Bichon Frise puppies were little adults. But, as I watch the little rascal I can see how they would appear to be advanced for their age.
It's clear that he needs patience but yet constant supervision and interaction with me. Lots of praise seems to be working to get him to use the potty outside (thank goodness!) and he does the whole circling/sniffing thing which, if I'm watching him, I can recognize the signs and get him outside when he forgets to go to the door.
We are making some real progress. I find him completely enchanting!
